You can transfer funds in your 401(k) account to Crecer and have our automated investment system manage your funds. To avoid taxes on the transfer you can do a direct rollover of the funds in your 401(k) account to a Crecer Traditional IRA account. Here are the steps to complete this process:

  1. Create a Traditional IRA account with Crecer. Make sure the personal information you use to create your Crecer account matches the personal information on your 401(k) account (Legal name, tax ID, etc).

  2. After your Crecer account is created, contact our support team to request 401(k) account transfer instructions.

  3. Once you receive the instructions from our support team, contact the broker that currently manages your 401(k) account to request a rollover to another institution.

  4. Provide the broker with the account transfer instructions you received from our support team. Important: Do not request the transfer or a check from your broker until you have received the account transfer instructions from our support team.
